Why should I create an Organiser Profile?

Having your events linked with a specific organiser within a single partner account means your events won't appear in irrelevant listings by other University organisers.

How do I use my Organiser Profile?

When you choose to publish your event, you have the option to select who will be the "Organiser". To your prospective audiences, only those events which are public will be listed on your organiser page. 

Important: If you need to curate a more niche listing of your events, you can add events in a collection. Refer to the section below.

I cannot find my Organiser Profile; how do I create one?

Organiser Profiles on the University partner account need to be approved. We only create one organiser profile which will be shared by each College Office, School or Support Group.

An event collection allows you to grow your prospective audiences by curating a group of your events with similar themes.  You get a separate events page from your event listings in your Organiser Profile, allowing you more flexibility over styling & branding.

Can event planners in other areas add their events to my collection? 

No, when you create a collection, it must be linked with a single Organiser Profile.

Can I list my events in multiple collections?

Yes, if you have created multiple collections, you can add the same event in one or more of them.

How do I get a new event collection (or update an existing one)? 

There is a known issue currently with Eventbrite which impacts your permission to access event collections. Whilst this is under review, you can use the form below to get your collection set up:


Share your events for discovery organically

  • Organiser Profile or Collection should be sufficient for promotion and discovery through the Eventbrite public space.
  • All published event pages feature a "Share event" feature which generates sharable links that can be used via Facebook, Messenger, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or Email.

Compared to paid ads, this soft-push promotion can be more effective because they:

  • target audiences who are likely to engage with you in the first place.
  • extend reach through word of mouth.
  • attract attention from passive followers and casual scrollers.

In contrast, paid ads through social media:

  • often annoy users.
  • can be blocked out.
  • are usually placed in highly contested Ad space.
  • won't always boost a return on investment.

  • Promotions: promo codes (event specific) can be used to discount sale tickets or access codes can be used to reveal hidden tickets. See below:
