Message exceeds maximum fixed size (number)

The message exceeded the maximum size of message we will accept.

The maximum email size is set to 35 MB for sending and 36 MB for receiving. This limit includes the entire message size, including attachments and encoding overhead, meaning the actual file size you can attach may be slightly lower.

For larger files, we recommend using OneDrive or SharePoint to upload the file and share a link instead of attaching it directly to the email.
