Learn more about what the Web Development Team are working on, and the services that we offer.

Staff in the Web Development team are currently working on building a new Web Publishing Platform to replace EdWeb. This work comprises of two major projects

  • Building EdWeb 2.0, to replace EdWeb and provide a wider range of more flexible web products and solutions.
  • Facilitating technical development for migrating EdWeb websites into EdWeb 2.0.

While we work on EdWeb 2.0, we are offering a reduced service. We are able to offer a limited service for existing clients, relating to existing pieces of work. You can contact us about this by emailing website.support@ed.ac.uk

Unfortunately, we have currently taken a decision to pause the creation of any new websites in our platform, until we implement a more formal approach to assess and approve new website requests.
