Board classification in our Miro Environment Board Classification Image In our Miro environment, boards are classified based on their content sensitivity levels. This classification system allows users to easily identify the appropriate sharing settings for each board, ensuring that information is shared securely and appropriately. These classification tags appear in the toolbar at the top left of your Miro board as per the image to the right: Public Description: This board contains information that can be shared both internally and externally with anyone. It is suitable for content that does not require any restrictions on sharing. External Collaboration Description: Boards classified as external collaboration can be shared with external collaborators from domains that have been added to the allow list. This level is appropriate for content that requires collaboration with known external partners. Internal Description: Internal boards should not be shared outside of the organization. They contain information intended solely for internal use, helping teams collaborate effectively within the organization. Confidential Description: Confidential boards contain sensitive information that can be shared externally with approved individuals. These boards are suitable for content that requires a higher level of security but may need to be shared with select external stakeholders. Restricted Description: Restricted boards are the most sensitive and can only be shared with approved individuals. These boards contain highly confidential information that requires strict access control to maintain confidentiality. Need any help? Please initially see the Miro Help & Support section.
