If the name of the list is no longer relevant e.g. a new year cohort or a departmental re-branding but you want to keep the subscribers and owner configuration as they are you can rename a list. Note that when a list is renamed the email address of the old will no longer exist and messages sent to the old address will bounce. If you have not already done so, please login to the web interface.How to loginClick on My Lists and the click on the list name of the list you want to rename. You need to be a privileged owner of a list in order to rename a list.Click on List configuration to be taken to the List Admin page.Under Drastic Operations click on Rename List. Enter the new list name in the box then click Rename This List. You will then be asked to confirm this. Click on Confirm. Your mailing list will now be flagged as waiting for approval for the rename.
