Microsoft's Office 365 suite combines email, calendar, OneDrive file storage, Office Online apps, as well as other collaboration products available to all University staff and students.

Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) is a secure collaborations hub allowing both internal and external participants in 1:1 or group audio/video meetings, with up to 300 interactive participants. Webinar participant levels rise to 1000 interactive & 10,000 view-only. Teams allows inline co-authoring of documents, private chat, and seamlessly integrates other Microsoft 365 apps too.

SharePoint Online is a mobile-friendly technology platform included in the University's Microsoft Office 365 offering. It is used for collaboration through intranet and communication sites, document and records management spaces, and workflow process automation.

OneDrive for Business is a cloud-based file storage platform available to all staff and students who need a central online location to store and access files.

Lists is the latest information tracking app from Microsoft 365 where you can create, share, and track lists with anyone, customize lists for whatever your team needs, and even add automation through custom workflows with Power Platform at the click of a button.

Microsoft Stream on SharePoint is our platform for storing and editing your non-curriculum based video files. Stream videos can be embedded for viewing and sharing across Microsoft 365 apps.

Microsoft's OneNote digital note-taking application and the rest of the Office Online suite of Word, Excel and PowerPoint enable you to work on your Office documents inside your OneDrive file storage via a web browser.

Microsoft Office software download

All active University staff and students are entitled to download, install and activate up to 5 copies of the standalone Microsoft Office software on personal computers or mobile devices for the duration of their time at the University.
