Downloading and installing the ownCloud Android appEither access the Google Play store on your Android device and search for the term 'ownCloud', or, on your computer, navigate to the following link: ownCloud Android app - Google Play storeClick the option to purchase the app and install it. Setting up and logging inTap on the ownCloud app to launch it and bring up the login screen.In the 'Server Address' box, type: https://datasync.ed.ac.ukEnter your DataSync username and password and press 'Log In'. Using the app interface and adding filesOnce logged in, you may see the root folder you set up in the DataSync web interface. This is the folder that can be synchronised with various devices, so it is best to keep any files you create inside it. Click into it as necessary and, if you have already added any items for synchronising from the web interface, they should appear here. At the top right you have options to upload files, create new folders, and, in the extra options, refresh the connection to your account, alter account settings as necessary and to sort type and order of files.If you click on a file and then go back to the options at the top right, you will see a variety of further choices for sharing, renaming, sending and opening files.
