Setup Process and Configuration

Configure your device and log into the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) service.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) functions by streaming applications to your computer. It is compatible with most browsers on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

If you are using Windows 11 or macOS on your computer, you have the option to install a client application, which offers an enhanced user experience, including integration with Start Menu application shortcuts.

If the application is not installed, you can find all available remote access applications on the remote software application list. Use the search function or browse the A-Z list to locate the desired application. Selecting an app from the list will provide detailed instructions for access.

Please be aware that the technology used to deliver these applications may evolve over time. Therefore, it is recommended to start each session from the remote software applications list page to ensure you are following the most current access procedures. Each application listed will include specific instructions for access.

Note that not all applications are available to everyone; your course requirements will determine which applications you can access.
