Imagine has been replaced by Azure Dev Tools for teaching.

On Campus

• Office365 provides an online platform for email, calendar, office, collaboration tools and cloud services accessable through the web.

• Microsoft Office is on Windows and Mac managed desktops for staff and Open access labs/shared computers for students

• Azure Dev tools for teaching(was Imagine) provides academic/teaching staff and students in Teaching and Learning schools with a variety of server and developer tools for teaching and learning.

• Some applications such as project, visual studio and visio will need a micorosft select license bought if you are not eligible for Azure Dev Tools for Teaching.

University units ordering software

University units order Microsoft software to their staff and students via Microsoft Campus agreement or Microsoft Select  scheme.

At home, personal copies and mobile devices

• Office365, as well as an online platform accessable through the web, provides downloads of the office apps to staff and student personal devices.

• Azure Dev tools for teaching (was Imagine)   provides staff and students in Teaching and Learning schools with a variety of server and developer tools for teaching and learning.
• Home Use Program permits staff cheap purchase of an office subscription for home install.
