Configuring Outlook 2021 for a first time user on the SDX Supported Desktop. The Office 2021 Upgrade on the University Windows Supported Desktop currently needs to be manually configured for new users of outlook.How it works Image When Outlook is opened for the first time, it will ask to be configured and have the email address of the logged in user. Image click Advanced options. Image Tick the Let me set up my account manually. Click the Connect button to continue. Image On the Advanced setup page click the Exchange option. Image On the next page it will ask to login to your Office365 account.Enter your username as UUN@ed.ac.uk and your Office365 password, then click sign in. Image If the account is setup for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), the MFA promt will appear. Image At the Stay signed into all your apps screen click No, sign in to this app only Outlook will then add the account. Image Image On the next screen it will ask how far back to download the emails from.Then click Next. Once this is done, click Done on the Account successfully added screen.
