Printing prices

The price of printing depends on the number of pages, and whether it's single- or double-sided, colour or black-and-white.

Current print charges

A4 black & white single side (simplex) - 5p per page

A4 black & white double side (duplex) - 8p per page

A4 colour - 30p per page

Any page printed on a colour printer is charged at the colour rate, even if it is all in black-and-white.

Some computing areas, including uCreate and resource centres provide special printing options (such as large poster printing). Prices for these will vary.

If there is a printer error and you are charged for spoiled or blank pages, take the spoiled pages (if any) to an IS Helpdesk to have your account refunded.
