A new service allowing for the creation of student mailing groups is being rolled out. Student Groupmail:Student Groupmail helps school staff create and manage targeted Outlook mailing groups using student information held in the University’s systems. Staff can build groups based on criteria such as school, programme, course, year of study, study level or student status. Membership is updated automatically as student records change, reducing the need to maintain mailing lists manually. Group owners can email the resulting @groupmail.ed.ac.uk address through Outlook and review previous messages sent to the group.
