The OER Service comprises Open.Ed, a one-stop-shop about open educational resources (OER) at the University of Edinburgh, the university’s OER Vision and Policy, together with practical support for staff and students in the form of workshops, advice and guidance on finding, using and creating OERs.

Copyright Enquiries Service 

The Library offers a copyright enquiries service, which is staffed by a team of experienced professionals from a range of different backgrounds, to offer help and support with any copyright-related queries.

Digital Skills and Training 

Developing digital and information literacy, desktop and IT productivity skills in staff and students to help you to work, research and study more effectively and to support continuing professional development. The Digital Skills and Training team run a wide range of training sessions for University of Edinburgh staff and students.

LinkedIn learning online courses for staff and students in digital, technology, creative and business skills. It is an online skills development service offering an extensive library of high quality video courses in digital, technology, creative and business skills.

Box of Broadcasts 

Box of Broadcasts (BoB) is provided as a subscription service by the British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC) for UK higher and further education institutions in collaboration with Bournemouth University. The University of Edinburgh subscribes to the BoB National service which enables all staff and students to choose and record any broadcast programme from over 60 TV and radio channels.
