As part of the Learn Foundations Summer Internship, we conduct an annual accessibility audit of Learn courses from across the University. Since 2019 these audits have helped the University to: Ensure compliance with government accessibility requirements for public sector bodies; Encourage the sharing of good practice training and guidance for staff; Empower students to be accessibility advocates and ambassadors to promote accessibility amongst their peers and teaching staff;Review over 2,400 courses. The interns audit a random sample of content from each course in the Learn VLE. We then collate the findings and share a report with each School. In addition to detailed audit results, the report highlights the three main accessibility challenges across each School’s courses and signposts relevant support resources and training. The reports are published on the Learn Accessibility Review Sharepoint (internal link only) This article was published on Friday 5 June 2026
