Resources for getting started

For anyone who wants to learn more about the LOUISA approach, resources are available on the University of Edinburgh SharePoint pages.

Please be aware, the below links are only available to University of Edinburgh staff:  

- Training: The LOUISA project designed three training courses to support colleagues in using the new workflows.  These courses are delivered at various points across the year and can be found on People and Money:  

  • Learn: Setting Up and Managing Learn Assignments: A course designed for all staff who are involved in the setting up and management of courses on Learn.  
  • Learn: Marking Learn Assignments course: A course designed for anyone who marks assessments and provides feedback to students.  
  • Learn: Peer Moderation with WebPA: A course designed for anyone who wishes to undertake group work when using learning technology. 

- Course Checklist: When you’re ready to begin your course build, have a look at our course checklist . This provides helpful guidance on where to start delivering assessments and providing feedback using the online teaching environment.  

- Workflows: Support, guidance and good practice are available for using these workflows on the Learn Service SharePoint under the assessment section.
