The University of Edinburgh CMALT Programme is a series of workshops to support staff who have learning technology or digital education as the main element of their role at The University of Edinburgh to gain an internationally recognised professional accreditation.  

The CMALT programme will support staff to prepare an application to gain recognition for their role. Upon a successful application they will be awarded either Associate CMALT, CMALT or Senior CMALT, aligned to their roles and responsibilities.

Register your interest for the 2026/27 cohort today!

You will need to complete the registration of interest form by 5pm on Monday 31st August 2026.

24 February 2027 Meeting 5: Core Area 4 - Communication & Working With Others
31 March 2027 Meeting 6: Specialist Area & Future Plans
28 April 2027 Meeting 7: Round up meeting - Prepare for independent work
26 May 2027 Meeting 8: Getting ready to submit
23 June 2027 Meeting 9: Pre-Submission Deadline Check-In

The programme comprises of nine interactive workshops and writing retreats designed to support you in preparing your CMALT portfolio. 

A small amount of pre-workshop preparation is required, and participants are supported by a dedicated SharePoint site and MS Teams channel.
