Preparing for a Meeting Before scheduling a Zoom meeting, we recommend that you prepare at least a week in advance if possible, and work through the steps below: Check that your date and time settings in ed-ac-uk.zoom.us are correct. Upload a profile picture to your profile. Check that the teaching tools you plan to use are enabled in your settings. Add and communicate the Meeting plan with Alternative Hosts. Create any polls that you want to use and upload them to the meeting. Presenting in a Meeting Below are recommendations for meeting presenters, hosts, and co-hosts: If possible, use a headset with a microphone. Download and use the Zoom Desktop Client. Join the session early to test video and audio. If you plan on screen sharing, clear the screen that you are going to share of any distractions. Plan to make the meeting as accessible as possible by Creating accessible lectures/tutorials Communicate clearly with users how they can ask questions and raise their hand in the meeting. After a meeting We recommend following up any Zoom meetings to gather feedback, and share information on how to access recordings in Media Hopper Replay with users: Allow time after a meeting for questions. Provide contact information for hosts and co-hosts clearly at the end of the meeting. Clearly communicate to users where and when any recordings of the session will become available to them.
