Media Hopper Replay: Introduction
Media Hopper Replay is the University's lecture recording solution. Introduction to Audacity: Audio recording and editing
Audacity is an easy to use, free, open source audio editor you can use to produce high quality, consistent, voiceovers for videos and presentations, create podcasts and much more. Learning Outcomes:

Subtitling for media creators
The session introduces you to automated and manual methods you can use to add subtitles (closed captions) to video or audio files that you have uploaded to Media Hopper Create, the University's media asset management service. We'll also advise on how to optimise your recordings to ensure the highest quality audio, and therefore the best possible automatic subtitles. Learning Outcomes:

This course is a beginner level GIF making workshop that doesn't assume any prior experience using graphic editing software tools. In this introductory workshop you will be guided through the steps to create your very own GIF using images and materials from University of Edinburgh Museum, library, and archival materials. Over the course we will look at the variety of public domain and openly licensed materials on the web that are available for creative re-use and discuss the ethical responsibilities we as creators have towards those materials.
