What will I need to take part?

Options for joining a Wooclap event.

Staff

A computer (PC, laptop or tablet), an internet connection to run the session and (optionally) a projector to display the questions to students (though questions are delivered to the students’ devices).

Students

A web enabled device will be required to register votes with Wooclap. The range of devices that can be used include:

  • Smartphones
  • Tablets
  • eReader - tablet-like eReaders such as the Kindle Fire range.
  • iPod Touch
  • Chromebook
  • Laptops PC or Mac

Any device capable of connecting to the web and displaying a web browser should allow participants to take part in Wooclap activities. To avoid using the data allowance on their device, students should connect to the internet using the University's WiFi network.
