Best practice for making media accessible

There are things you can do when recording sessions or creating new media which may improve the accuracy of the automated captions or make your media more accessible in other ways.

Captioning is the process of converting the audio content of media to text, providing additional information and context. Captions make content more accessible to a range of users, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing or if the viewer is not a native speaker of the media’s language, as well as individuals who prefer to read or who are in situations where audio cannot be easily heard.

Making media accessible isn't all just about the captions and transcripts. There are other things you can do.
