The current University of Edinburgh Wiki is to be upgraded to the latest version of Confluence by the end of June 2016. The upgrade will introduce the latest security patches, bug fixes and features to the service and will allow us to maintain the skill base around Confluence software. Moving to a more recent version of the software will also ensure ongoing vendor support and demonstrate our long-term commitment to the Wiki Service. This project will also create a separate, dedicated Wiki environment for Edinburgh Genomics who rely on the service heavily as part of their research.
