Applications Management

The Applications Management team is responsible for the management of the support relationship with the service owners of key systems throughout the University.

The team offers support for a wide range of technologies and applications, both in-house developed and third party provided solutions. Key activities and skills in the team are:

  • Deep understanding of the applications and their environment to enable fault finding and resolution
  • Input into development projects to ensure that ‘supportability’ of the solution is part of the design process
  • Effective use of resources to add value through enhancement process
  • Strong business focus to ensure appropriate service understanding to meet user requirements
