The Applications Management team is responsible for the management of the support relationship with the service owners of key systems throughout the University. The team offers support for a wide range of technologies and applications, both in-house developed and third party provided solutions. Key activities and skills in the team are: Deep understanding of the applications and their environment to enable fault finding and resolution Input into development projects to ensure that ‘supportability’ of the solution is part of the design process Effective use of resources to add value through enhancement process Strong business focus to ensure appropriate service understanding to meet user requirements These resources can be requested via the IS Application Support service.
