Supported Desktop for Windows

The installation, configuration and maintenance of the Windows (10) operating system and applications on staff and lab supported desktop machines.

Supported Desktop for Mac

The University's Mac supported desktop is based on the JAMF Pro cloud service.

SCCM Service

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) delivers the initial build and configuration, application installation and maintenance for Windows Supported Desktops. This service also captures relevant hardware and software information allowing computing officers to maintain detailed inventories about the systems they manage.

Facilities Managed Services

Installation, configuration and application support for the open access labs, most school student labs, lecture theatres, uCreate,  Library OPACs and student laptop loan services.

Remote Application Services

AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) which allows staff and students to access software remotely.

Azure Lab Services

Virtual Labs is a cloud based service that allows educators to assign a virtual machine to each of their students to use to learn software tools, complete coursework, use software tools for analysis of data and much more. It is similar to providing each student with a PC/laptop loaded with the software required for any particular course.

Application repackaging

Application repackaging allows application software to be delivered on demand to staff and student desktops in the university.
