Office 365 is relatively new to the University. Its most familiar use is as a mail service but it’s much more than that, and Information Services are often asked about how to use the less familiar functions, such as OneDrive.

The Road Show idea came about between the Service Management and IS Helpline offices, in response to requests for training on Office 365. The Road Show was created as a light and easy way to showcase what is available on the service.

There have been two small pilot sessions so far, and Service Management have now handed over the running of the sessions to the IS Digital Skills and Training team.

They will be able to offer the Road Shows, i.e. training sessions in individual departments, across the whole University, on request. The requesting department is responsible for booking and providing a training space with a data projector. To arrange this, Digital Skills ask for at least two weeks notice.

The last of the current batch of Office 365 training are being held in the Main Library, on the 21st and 23rd of June.

Spaces can be booked either via this link or the events channel on MyEd.
