A new project is currently underway to update the Edinburgh University Complete Lifecycle Integrated Development (EUCLID) screens, to enhance search, navigation and usability across the board. Image The Student Hub within EUCLID allows staff across the University to review a student record. The current screens were delivered as part of the original EUCLID project and have been added to extensively over time. This tool has become out of line with the style and usability of the more recent EUCLID developments, and has become difficult to maintain. So far the project has delivered a view only version of the student hub in the Live environment, enabling 100+ users across the institution to evaluate what has been delivered. The project team are currently working to embed all the update tasks within this framework, with a go live date of March 2016. The project will also deliver the following benefits: A scalable framework allowing additional data to be added in the future PGR data will be easily slotted in under project SAC050. Allow update tasks currently carried out centrally to be rolled out to the schools. A new framework for document upload for all staff (currently only avaialble to the Student Record Team). A flexible notes stucture which will allow the student record to be more complete and the records status clearer.
