Improvements to EdWeb Events on the way An exciting new project to improve the way University Events are presented and managed in EdWeb has just completed planning. The project will be delivered by a project team made up of colleagues from the University Website and Communications Team, CAHSS Web team and Developers in Applications Division. Objectives The project objective is to fulfil the business need to be able to promote events to support all potential audiences. University events will be promoted better and reach more channels used by our target audiences. Some of the highlights to be delivered are: Automatically display events based on specific criteria Group and display events by tagging methods for example groups audience, University hierarchy etc. Present single and larger programme of events A facility to view past events This project will be delivered using the mature Agile methodology in Applications Division.
