A major collaborative project to review and improve MyEd for all users has recently delivered a preview for students MyEd is the University’s web portal which provides a range of services to students, staff and applicants. Project Services are delighted to be project managing a project with the Learning, Teaching & Web and Student Systems teams, which involves working closely with students and staff to look into ways we can make improvements to MyEd. This will feature a range of changes to make it simpler and easier to use, including: * A redesign for easier access on mobile devices * Services organised by tasks which make sense to students * Clearer terminology and the removal of acronyms Students can now access a preview of the new interface and staff will have preview access soon. Content for staff and alumni is not changing but the way this can be accessed will improve. The project has also been upgrading the underlying technology which will allow MyEd to deliver further benefits for strategic priorities such as Student Experience, Service Excellence and Core Systems.
