Applications Lunchtime Seminars – Digital Transformation

Providing an introduction to Digital Transformation and three of the five programmes currently underway, this popular event was attended by a wide range of staff from across the University.

Alison Armstrong (Portfolio Manager for Digital Transformation) gave an overview of Digital Transformation aims, structure, and current programmes.

Iain Fiddes, summarised the new Accelerated Software Testing solution (Testrail). Dave Berry provided an outline of the Enterprise Data Warehouse programme, and John Grzesinski covered the Enterprise APIs programme. The speakers also answered questions from the audience at the end of the session.

(Due to the high demand for places, this was a repeat of the seminar held on 4th May).

A second Digital Transformation follow-on event on the User Experience and the User-Centred Portal programmes will be held on Monday 19th June 2017.

The next seminar will take place in the larger venue in Lecture Theatre 1 at 7 Bristo Square from 12.30pm-2pm and catering will be available.
