Worktribe, a research management platform used by the University, is being upgraded from version 3.1 to version 2020.1 as part of a current project. This upgrade is a double upgrade to the latest version and will incorporate the updates provided by version 2019.7. Worktribe is a cloud-based research administration management platform used for pre-award and post-award management. Pre-award is for collaborative bid development and is beneficial as it allows for a clear workflow and approvals process from submission to award acceptance. Post-award allows the tracking of project progress and the management of key project milestones. The University aims to never be more than one version behind the most recent release of Worktribe, to benefit from the more recent improvements to functionality and performance. The project also includes updating the associated Wiki and user guidance pages, to further assist service users. By upgrading to the latest version, the project ensures that supplier support for Worktribe is maintained, as well as users benefitting from upgraded features including bug fixes and additional functionality.
