The Resource Lists service provides students with consistent access to their course readings via Learn or directly from the Resource Lists homepage. Image In 2020/21 Resource Lists were viewed over 1 million times by students, Resource Lists homepage. The Library also encourages Course Organisers to manage the provision of library materials for teaching via their course Resource List. In 2020/21 the majority of E-reserve and purchase requests came via Resource Lists with teams checking for e-book availability for over 12,500 titles! Managing course reading in one place saves Course Organisers time and has streamlined the workflows of Collections Services team who work closely to ensure teaching materials are ready in time for the start of each semester and where possible are provided online. Over the summer, four student interns worked with the Library Learning Services team, providing much needed resource to set up and review Resource Lists for Semester 1 2021/22. With their help, Collections Services teams were not only able to complete work on all Resource Lists sent before the 5 July Semester 1 deadline, but also to complete work on lists sent in July and August. Although, Semester 1 has just started, we are already preparing for Semester 2 and asking Course Organisers to send their lists to the Library by 18 October.
