Finance Helpline now live

The new Finance Helpline went live on 21 January providing a clearer route to Finance support for University staff, students and external customers.

This service has been created as a single entry point for support with Finance services and uses many of the services and processes that have made the IS Helpline such a success.

In the first three days of running the Finance Helpline handled over 1700 calls. This is an amazing achievement and wouldn’t have been possible without the amount of effort put in by colleagues from Finance, Information Services and the Service Excellence Programme to design our new Helpline.

The Finance Helpline team are central to the success of this launch, Larry, Dorothy, Natasha, Sophie, Sheena and Cindy are working hard to deliver excellent customer services and this has already been recognised with praise from our Finance service users.

We will continue to review this new service as it evolves and look at ways to provide our Finance colleagues with a continued quality support service.

The helpline is a great idea, it really shifts the burden from us to you to find the right part of finance that we need.  Thank you, that is a great service-oriented mentality.
