Teaching Timetabling System Students now see a much faster delivery of personalised calendar entries, direct from EventMAP into their personalised Microsoft 365 outlook calendars. Students are benefiting from near-real time updates to their teaching events in their Outlook calendars, if there are any late changes to the timetable.For teaching Staff, if Schools provide the teaching allocations to the Timetabling operations team , then teaching staff will now also see their teaching commitments in their personalised Microsoft 365 outlook calendars. Room and Desk Booking System When using Booker, staff and students can search for nearby rooms from a map and can book desks from a floorplan. Booker shows photos of each room, and the building location on a map. These new features will help with room booking, desk booking, events management, conferences and the photos help users to find the most appropriate room. ‘I find using Booker much easier than the old system, at least for the purposes I use it. I can now cancel a single meeting of a recurring series, which wasn't possible before. This creates a better Exam timetable in a much shorter period of time, providing an overall smoother process. In addition to a more efficient exam scheduling process, once the new exam timetable is published, students are now sent a personalised email detailing their personalised exam timetable. Students at the University have commented that the new system provides a more reassuring exam experience, as they get the email notification as well as the exam event added to their outlook calendar.
