Streamlining quality reviews of teaching

Following on from a previous project to assess quality reporting procedures in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, a project is underway to build and implement a single IT system to support uniform reporting of teaching across the College.

This joint project between Student Systems and IS Applications is currently in the foundations stage. This stage involves detailed discussions and exploration of how to implement the new system and it's here that design briefs would be produced.

The new Quality Assurance system for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will simplify the reporting and analysis of taught courses. It will have built-in work flows, making it easy to track the status of reports before they are completed.

The system will be built and delivered iteratively in five stages, and is due to go live in time for the 2017 Quality Assurance reporting period.
