Upgrades of QlikView and Qlik Sense and subsequent migration provide new opportunities for users. Image QlikView (desktop-based) and Qlik Sense (web-based) are both data analytics platforms that provide business insights of large data sets to improve the planning of projects. The project upgraded both QlikView and Qlik Sense to the most recent, stable and up-to-date versions, as well as later migrating QlikView users onto Qlik Sense. Being part of the same contract, both platforms needed upgrading to support the migration of users from QlikView to Qlik Sense. While this increased the complexity and length of the initial project planning, the migration was successful. User Testing made sure both the upgrades and migration were working as expected. The upgrades to both QlikView and Qlik Sense have provided a number of benefits, improving the overall experience for users. The upgrades to both Qlik platforms have introduced improved features, providing opportunities for users to build their skill base around the Qlik software.
