Staff and student experience of University services are the focus of the Student Systems Partnership (SSP) team. Using feedback and experiences of those across the University, the team aim to provide efficient and user-friendly services to support the teaching and learning experience in the Schools.

To help improve the support staff provide research postgraduates, a new Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is being put together. Whether the student goes on to further academic research or non-academic work, it will provide the student with both assurance and useful feedback to improve. Currently, there are 6,500 postgraduate research students who can now take advantage of this HEAR during their studies, with over 13,000 alumni who can access a copy via their alumni portal.

Schools will find that they no longer have to manually create documents for students with similar information, but instead find it automatically on the postgraduate’s EUCLID profile. Additional prize and award information will also be available on the HEAR, providing both School administration and the student with a useful overview of each student and their academic record.

Brilliant news, thank you to everyone involved for making this happen!
