Information on how to get your student card. New students starting in September 2026 You must upload a photo via MyEd if you haven't already done so. Visit the Card Photo Submission channel in the Accounts tab in MyEd to upload your photo. Submitting your photo via MyEd Students in University Accommodation For students in University Accommodation, if you have submitted a photo before 30th August 2026 your student card should be delivered to your accommodation. Students in Private Accommodation For students in private accommodation, a booking can be made to collect your University card during the Card Collection event running in September. Book your slot to attend the card collection event via the booking page:Card Collection booking form Card Collection location, dates and opening hours The Card Collection event is in the Main Library at George Square on the following dates and times: Day Time Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 12:15pm to 4:45pm (International students Monday 14 to Friday 18 September 9:15am to 4:45pm Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 12:15pm to 4:45pm Monday 21 to Friday 25 September 9:15am to 4:45pm Please note that cards cannot be issued until the course start date.Uncollected cards will be kept at the Main Library EdHelp Service desk until the end of your studies. Main Library location and opening hours Online Distance Learner students Cards for Online Distance Learner students will be posted to your home address at the beginning of September 2026. Please note that as an Online Distance Learner it may not always be possible to deliver your card to you. We use Royal International Mail so we are relying on your home country to complete delivery.
