Card Help Desks

Replacement cards can be requested at any of the EdHelp Service Desks.

*** Please note that we are unable to provide new or renewed Visitor membership cards until Wednesday 1st July due to IT maintenance. During this downtime we can offer Day Passes to Visitors. Apologies for this inconvenience.***

Card Helpdesks are available at the following libraries. Please note production of cards ceases 20 minutes before closing times of EdHelp Service desks. Please check our library opening hours using link below before visiting us.

  • Main Library, Ground Floor, George Square.
  • Art and Architecture Library, Minto House (Service currently unavailable)
  • Law Library, Old College.
  • Moray House Library, Dalhousie Land, 15 St John Street.
  • New College Library, Mound Place.
  • Edinburgh College of Art Library, Evolution House.( For non-UoE visitors-Monday-Friday, 9am-4.15pm only. If Entry on West Port is locked, please ring the Helpdesk 01316515700).

Other areas

  • Accommodation Services Reception, Pollock Halls. (Service currently unavailable)
  • The Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library, The Kings Buildings.
  • The Lady Smith of Kelvin Veterinary Library, Easter Bush Campus.
  • Royal Infirmary Library, the Chancellor’s Building, Little France Crescent.
